What this website does
The website contains no advertising trackers, no advertising networks and no embedded social widgets. Fonts and visual assets are served with the website itself. A search query is sent to the site’s own service to return results; it is not shared with third parties.
Visit statistics
To see which pages are actually used, the site uses self-hosted, cookie-free analytics (Matomo, operated by the site owner). It sets no cookies and no local storage, uses no cross-site identifiers and transmits no query strings, URL fragments or page titles to the statistics server — only the page path and a coarse referrer origin. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the statistics component is not loaded at all.
The CV Brief (newsletter)
The CV Brief is distributed by email. The subscription form is embedded from our email service provider, Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France), and served from the provider’s domain; the form submission therefore goes directly to the provider and not to this website.
What is processed: your email address, the fact and time of your consent, your confirmation status (double opt-in) and the technical data the provider needs to deliver the form and the emails.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time without giving reasons — every issue contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also contact us and we will remove your address.
Double opt-in: you are not subscribed until you open the confirmation email and click the confirmation link. Without that confirmation, no newsletter is sent and the address remains unconfirmed.
Data location: the provider is a European company based in Paris; it processes the data on our behalf and its own privacy notice applies to the embedded form. No newsletter data is stored on this website and no address is used for anything other than sending The CV Brief.
Hosting and access
This website is hosted by 1blu. The hosting provider processes connection data to deliver the website and maintain server security.
External sources
Links to regulators and other sources open external websites. Their own privacy information applies when you visit them.
