Browse and cite
Every reference has a permanent page and a stable identifier, such as CV-REQ-000001. Include that identifier, the page URL, revision and original regulatory source when citing an entry. A source summary, editorial interpretation and suggested audit evidence are distinct parts of the record.
Search from an agent
The Regulatory Reference offers keyword search and combined filters. In browsers that support WebMCP, the search_cleaning_validation tool applies those filters to the visible page and returns matching references. WebMCP support depends on the browser and agent; ordinary links, HTML pages and the HTTP API remain available independently.
Read-only HTTP API
Download the OpenAPI description for parameter names, response fields, authentication and error handling. The API supports GET requests; it exposes no publishing, editing or administrative operations.
- Authorities, source documents and topics
- Example: FDA references about recovery
- Example: one reference record
- Search without JavaScript
The HTTP API runs on the hosted website. Filters and search terms combine with AND. Search results are paginated, with at most 50 entries per response. Retain the response’s release value for consistent follow-up requests. This static website corresponds to Release 2026-09-16.
Read the status, not just the result
The status field describes the source document. It does not mean that an entry has editorial approval. Check editorialState, reviewedAt and the document’s verification information separately. Draft content must not be presented as reviewed guidance, and a warning letter does not create a universally applicable requirement.
Metadata and the public reference catalogue contain only the fields exposed by this website. Private notes and database credentials are not part of these resources. This interface does not grant rights to reproduce third-party source documents.
